What’s Included in Our Moving Out Cleaning Service?
Our goal with the moving out cleaning service is to ensure that the home you are leaving is thoroughly cleaned and ready for the next resident. Here’s what we include:
All Rooms:
- Mop the floors
- Clean inside and outside of all cabinets, doors, and shelves
- Wipe inside and outside of wardrobes
- Clean all doors
- Dust the walls and ceiling
- Clean the windows inside, outside, and between the glass panes
- Clean radiators, including behind them
- Wipe electrical outlets and switches
Kitchen (Usually the most time-consuming area):
- Clean the stovetop, underside, and sides (including burners)
- Clean the walls around the stove
- Clean the extractor fan, hood, and filter
- Wash all racks and trays
- Clean the oven and warming drawer
- Clean the sink, faucet, and backsplash
- Clean the cutting board and spice shelf
- Clean the windows inside, outside, and between the glass panes
- Mop the floor
- Dust the walls and ceiling
- Wipe all moldings
- Clean the door
- Clean the fridge and freezer inside and out
- Wipe electrical outlets and switches
- Clean radiators
- Clean inside and outside of all cabinets, doors, and shelves
Bathroom:
- Clean inside, outside, and around the toilet
- Clean above and below the sink (excludes drain cleaning)
- Wipe all pipes
- Clean all tiles
- Clean the bathtub, under it, and the bathtub front
- Clean the shower cabin
- Clear the floor drain
- Polish the mirror
Additional Services: Contact us if you want to book any of the following:
- Freezer defrosting: 200 SEK after RUT.
- Sweeping/vacuuming of additional areas like balconies, storage, or basements: 15 SEK/sqm after RUT.
- Cleaning blinds: 25 SEK each after RUT.
Terms and Conditions
Quality Guarantee: We offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee. If there are any issues within 14 days, we will come back and fix them. You can trust that we will do the job right!
We carry all necessary insurance for your and our staff’s safety.
Materials: We bring all equipment and cleaning supplies needed.
Things to Consider Before Your Moving Out Cleaning:
- Empty the home of furniture (otherwise, we will only clean around them).
- Ensure the fridge and freezer are emptied and defrosted for cleaning.
- Remove the bathtub front if you want us to clean underneath.
- Move heavy appliances like the fridge, freezer, stove, bathtub, washing machine, and dryer so we can clean behind them. Note that our cleaning guarantee does not cover areas behind these appliances if they haven’t been moved before cleaning.
- Ensure there is electricity, lighting, and hot water in the home.
- Be reachable by phone on the cleaning day.
- Inform us if you have any sensitive items or materials, such as marble, in your home.
Tasks We Don’t Perform: To ensure your satisfaction and avoid damage to your home or risk to our staff, we have identified tasks we do not perform:
- We do not clean inside closets, bathroom cabinets, etc., unless they are emptied.
- We do not remove stains from non-wet room walls and ceilings due to the risk of color differences or paint peeling.
- We do not remove paint, stickers, or similar items due to the risk of surface damage.
- We do not clean exterior windows that cannot be opened inward and are higher than 3 meters.
- To protect your belongings and for safety reasons, we do not move heavy furniture or large rugs. If furniture remains, we clean around them.
- We do not clear sink or wash basin drains.
Need for Extra Resources: If, during our inspection, we find that the cleaning requires more resources than initially expected (for example, if the home is much dirtier than normal), we reserve the right to adjust the price to cover extra labor and materials. You will be informed and given the option to accept the new price before we begin cleaning. If you choose not to accept the adjusted price, you can cancel the service without any charge.
Please note that this happens in very few cases.
Payment Terms: Payment is due within 10 days after the work is completed. Late or missed payments will incur a reminder fee of 60 SEK, plus interest on arrears at the legal rate + 8% on the invoice amount from the due date.
The total price after tax reduction assumes the work qualifies for the deduction, that the customer has sufficient allowance, and that it hasn’t been used for other services. The customer is responsible for verifying this information.
Cancellation: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled time will not be charged. For cancellations made less than 24 hours before, the full amount after the RUT deduction will be charged.
